Today is a significant day for DLE. We are excited to share our knowledge and experience with you by releasing our Render Engine Infrastructure (REI) tool as an open-source project.
REI is a versatile graphics API that allows the creation of a unified rendering subsystem. This subsystem is adaptable to a broad range of platforms, including PC, console, and mobile, using platform-specific library code. It is particularly useful for accelerating the porting of games developed on custom engines that do not have native support for the target platform.
We hope that REI will enable more games to reach a wider audience by being available on all platforms. Go and try it here.
