The main focus of our team was on building and maintaining the technical art presence in the project, establishing and executing the streamlining of art production pipelines, and technical debt reduction. Thanks to the team’s proactivity and initiative, we identified the issues at hand early on and successfully tackled them in a short period. Our team also provided post-release support for the project, guaranteeing the implementation of essential updates to enhance the gaming experience.
Collaborating with Dragon’s Lake Entertainment has been a positive experience and they have been an important contributor in creating new content and improving systems on Dead by Daylight.
DLE displayed an impressive technical expertise, showcasing a deep knowledge of Unreal Engine and helping us pushing the visual boundaries of the game even further, most notably with a direct impact on the game's lighting and the end game collapse's post-process effects.
The integrated Dragons Lake team benefitted significantly from the previous background of working with Behaviour Interactive on the post-apocalyptic building game Meet Your Maker. Thanks to our mutual trust and maintained long-term relationship, our integration into the project — as well as the work itself — was unbelievably smooth, prompt, and productive.
