Dragon’s Lake Adds Mark Greenshields and Peter Cherkes
Dragon’s Lake Entertainment, part of Room 8 Group’s portfolio of creative development studios, is proud to announce two new team members, Peter Cherkes – Creative Director and Mark Greenshields – Producer.

Mark Greenshilds, started his career as a games programmer before joining teams at Canal+, DC Studios, Firebrand Games, Psycho Hound Games, and now Dragon’s Lake Entertainment. Mark will manage a team of internal producers and ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality, requirements, and achieve the goals of Dragon Lake Entertainment’s partners. In addition, he will serve as the lead product-related communications to all appropriate parties and partners, and will be directly responsible for specific high-profile projects.
Peter Cherkes, Creative Director, previously worked at Bioware, Vigil Games, Naughty Dog, Io-Interactive, Starbreeze Studios and Black Phoenix Games. At Dragon’s Lake Entertainment, Peter will be responsible for building a road map for internal IP development and managing the internal prototype team. He will also be charged with managing an assessment framework for internal team evaluation and development, creating and executing a commercial creative team, and overseeing an internal quality check process within the creative teams.
Dragon’s Lake Entertainment focuses on AAA and AA PC and console game development, is ISO certified, and licensed by PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo. Dragon’s Lake Entertainment expertise is in full game development, co-development, and porting to all platforms including next-gen consoles. Over the past two years, Dragon’s Lake Entertainment has grown 20x to more than 110+ team members worldwide.
Dragon’s Lake Entertainment is one of two brands in Room 8 Group’s portfolio, the other being Room 8 Studio which focuses on mobile game development and full art production.
